Tutoring

As an experienced teacher (for 26 years), I offer in-person and online tutoring on a one-off and regular basis, depending on what support is needed.

Based in Bendigo on Djaara country, I specialise in making complex tasks simple and approachable, and am fully registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (which includes a Working With Children and police check). I’ve worked with students within the school system as well as home-schooled students.

Subjects:

• English (essay writing, spelling, expression and presentation) Prep-Yr 12

• Literacy (speaking and listening, reading and writing) Prep-Yr 12

• English as an Additional Language & TESOL, Prep - Yr 12 and Adult learners

• Drama and Literature ( Yr3-Yr12)

• VCE English Skills & time management (including stress management)

• Other subjects considered (contact to discuss)

I have successfully taught and tutored students with specific learning needs such as:

• Dyslexia

• ADHD

• PDA

• Gifted students

• Autism

• Hearing loss

• Anxiety challenges

• Trauma

Cost:

$90 per hour for one-off sessions (eg feedback and assistance with a specific skill or assignment may take between 45 mins and an hour). Payment is negotiated at the time of booking. Click here to book.

Regular sessions are offered at:

• $80 per hour for one student,

• $100 (total) for two students,

• and $120 (total) for 3-5 students.
